A message from the Superintendent

Dear WCS Community,

It's hard to believe that we are already beginning the fourth week of the 26/27 school year. It has been an outstanding start, with strong attendance at our Open House events, students settling into routines, and continued progress in our instructional initiatives. As fall continues, I write to you to make you aware of a couple of exciting events taking place this week.

This Friday, Sterling Heights will host Fitzgerald, L'Anse Creuse North will be here to play Cousino, and Warren Mott has a game against Anchor Bay. All games kickoff at 7 prn. There is nothing quite like the energy of a fall Friday night, with our athletes and marching bands showcasing their talents under the lights.

In honor of the big games (which coincide with homecoming at all three high schools) this week, I am calling upon all current, future, and former Stallions, patriots, Marauders (and Orioles) to show their school pride this Friday, September 25. Wherever your day takes you, be proud to show your school spirit, and if you Can, join us for one of Our games that evening to cheer for our students. Share your pictures with us at [email protected].

If you cannot join us on Friday night, another chance to show your school spirit will be "Band-O-Rama" at Cousino High School on Sunday, October 11, at 4:00 in the afternoon. This event will feature all three of our marching bands. There will also be several other home events for our fall teams throughout October. If you have not made it to a game, you should!

Warren Consolidated Schools is a special district, serving a special community. Let's come together to celebrate Our schools, support our students, and make memories.

I look forward to seeing you at the game!

Sincerely,

John C. Bernia, Jr., Ed. D.
