Open houses welcome families back for the new school year
Warren Consolidated Schools welcomed families across the district throughout a successful series of Open Houses, giving students and parents an opportunity to prepare for a successful 2026-27 school year.

At Open Houses, families met teachers and staff, visited classrooms, and learned about the exciting opportunities awaiting students this year.

Throughout the events, families had the opportunity to connect with teachers and administrators, explore classrooms and learning spaces, learn about academic programs and extracurricular opportunities, and gain a better understanding of what students can expect this school year.

At each Open House, Superintendent Dr. John C. Bernia, Jr. addressed families, emphasizing the importance of regular attendance and the role it plays in student achievement. Principals also shared school-specific information and goals for the year ahead.

Carter Elementary hosted a curriculum and program expo that allowed families to learn more about the school's offerings before hearing from Dr. Bernia. Across the district, school spirit was on full display as students and families engaged in activities, explored their schools, and built connections with staff members.

Warren Consolidated Schools extends its gratitude to the Board of Education, administrators, teachers, support staff, and volunteers who helped make each Open House a success. Most importantly, thank you to the families who took the time to attend and begin the school year as partners in their children's education.
